| További információk: | Xerox copy of one or more manuscripts, comprising 5 folios. An unknown number of folios are missing. The final two Tibetan folios are written in a different hand and may belong to a different work. Nineteenth-century Russian paper. The manuscript contains a collection of ritual texts devoted primarily to Chinggis Khan. Libation offering (gser skyems). The first text is complete. It is a libation offering composed by Pan chen Bstan pa'i nyi ma (1782–1853) at the request of Bkra shis rgya mtsho (Hang gin Pi se), Byang chub rdo rje (Thu sa Lag che), Tshe dbang rdo rje (Thu sa Lag che), and Phun tshogs bkra shis (Ca kha Rug che). Fumigation offering (bsangs). The second text is a fumigation and offering ritual dedicated to Chinggis Khan and other local deities of the Ordos region. Its title reads: ching gis gsnam (!) gyi lha dge bsnyen po lha dang bcas pa'i bsangs gsol gyi rim pa. At least one folio appears to be missing. In the colophon the work is described as or du su'i yul gyi gzhi bdag rnams la gsol mchod. The author is identified as Pan chen Blo bzang dpal ldan ye shes (1738–1780), and the text was composed at the request of Blo bzang rdo rje (Or du su'i Pe'i si). Untitled fumigation ritual. The third text is untitled and incomplete, lacking its conclusion. It consists of a fumigation ritual addressed to local deities, probably associated with the Ordos region. Fragment of a libation offering. The final two Tibetan folios preserve the end of a libation offering. The beginning of the text is missing. The concluding lines state that it is dedicated to Chinggis Khan and was composed by Rol pa'i rdo rje, possibly Lcang skya Rol pa'i rdo rje. These two folios may have originated from a different manuscript. The manuscript appears to have been copied from a printed edition containing a collection of fumigation and related rituals dedicated to Chinggis Khan. The final folio also contains an extensive Mongolian text. Provenance: Formerly in the possession of Géza Bethlenfalvy. |
